GALFER BIKE RETURNS TO THE EUROBIKE TRADE FAIR

Galfer Bike, the leading brand of friction components, will once again take part in the Eurobike trade fair, the bike industry’s top international event, held in Frankfurt (Germany) from 21 to 25 June 2023.

The full “Disc Shark®” range, including the new ø160 mm version for XCO/XCM, will be on show at the Galfer Bike stand (hall 9.1, stand B11) at Eurobike 2023. Developed in collaboration with international riders such as Martin Maes (Orbea Fox Enduro Team) and Hans Becking (Buff®-Megamo), the new “Disc Shark®” brake discs are a perfect combination of design, innovation and high performance and have already conquered the market with their incredible characteristics: lower operating temperature, increased braking power, more stability and lighter weight.

In addition to the new brake discs, some of the latest products in the new Galfer Bike 2023 Catalogue will also be on show, such as the upgraded floating brake discs with coloured pins (green, red, blue, gold, orange and violet), the new “Disc Wave®” for e-bikes with a housing for the speed sensor magnet, and lightweight screws for discs and adapters. The stand will also have the rest of the product range for MTB, road, e-bikes and trials bikes, such as the wide range of Galfer brake pads, which have become a leader in the bicycle market.

The design of the Galfer stand at Eurobike is inspired by the new “Find your Flow” campaign, with a photo of popular rider Gee Atherton, founder of his own bicycle brand: Atherton Bikes. Galfer is sponsoring the Atherton Racing team in 2023 as it competes in the UCI DH World Cup with Andreas Kolb, Rachel Atherton, Charlie Hatton and Dom Platt.

Ivo Martini Bristot – Galfer Sales Director:

“After a very positive 2022, the same trend has continued in 2023 and we are very happy that Galfer Bike continues to expand its sales network and its international presence; becoming a global leader in braking components for bicycles. We are returning to the Eurobike trade fair in 2023 to consolidate the brand at what is currently the most important event in Europe. We hope to reconnect with our customers and distributors while also attracting new interests that will help us to further expand our commercial network.”

The Galfer brand was founded in 1952, and since then it has not stopped growing and evolving in the motorbike and bicycle sector. Experts in friction disc brakes, Galfer’s brake pads and brake discs have been used on mountain bikes as original parts since 1998 and also as replacement parts since 2012.

It should be noted that Galfer Bike is an original equipment manufacturer (OEM) for several of the top brands in the sector such as Orbea, Pivot, Bianchi and Megamo, among others.

The Eurobike 2023 trade fair will be held in Frankfurt (Germany) from 21 to 25 June 2023: the first three days are exclusively for industry professionals, and the weekend is open to the general public.
