DOUBLE VICTORY FOR MELANIE PUGIN AND KARIM AMOUR AT EWS PIETRA LIGURE

French riders Melanie Pugin and Karim Amour, both from the BH Racing Enduro Team, clinched a win in the Women’s and the Master categories at the Enduro World Series in Pietra Ligure (Italy) using bikes fitted with Galfer Bike brake components.

Excellent results for BH Enduro Team riders in the second round of the Enduro World Series season. French rider Melanie Pugin (BH Racing Enduro Team) crossed the finish line 14 seconds ahead of the current Championship leader in the Women’s Elite category, proving that she can excel in more than one discipline. Three weeks ago she claimed victory in the E-bikes discipline in the first ever EWS-E race.

Veteran rider Karim Amour (BH Racing Enduro Team) also came away with a win in Pietra Ligure, in the Master category, in an evenly-matched final classification.

In the Men’s Elite category, Damien Oton (Orbea Fox Enduro Team) put in a good performance to achieve a final 12th position, just a second away from nabbing a spot amongst the Top Ten.

Fine performances also in the E-bikes (EWS-E) discipline, with Portuguese rider José Borges (Miranda Factory Team) clinching 3rd spot on the podium, Spanish rider Edgar Carballo (Orbea Fox Enduro Team) finishing in 6th position and French rider Alexandre Cure (BH Racing Enduro Team) in 7th position.

All the Galfer Bike riders use fixed Disc Wave® brake discs in different sizes (180-203 mm for EWS and 203-223 mm for EWS-E), and brake pads with different compounds (G1851-G1554T for EWS and G1652 for EWS-E).

The next Enduro World Series round will be contested from 25 to 27 September in Finale Ligure (Italy), where all the Enduro World Series titles will be decided.
