VICTORY FOR VALERIO LATA IN EMX250 AT THE MXGP OF TRENTINO

The Italian rider from the Beddini Racing KTM team took victory in the EMX250 class of the European Motocross Championship, while Ferruccio Zanchi finished on the third step of the podium.

The Arco di Trento circuit in Italy hosted the annual World Motocross Championship event, the MXGP of Trentino, with the MXGP, MX2, EMX250 and EMX125 classes competing.

Valerio Lata (Beddini Racing KTM) performed magnificently in the EMX250 class, achieving one victory and one second place in the two rounds, which was enough to take victory in the GP of Trentino. Another Italian rider and Galfer representative, Ferruccio Zanchi (Team VRT KTM Factory Juniors), took his first podium of the season, finishing third, while his teammate, Frenchman Marc-Antoine Rossi, finished 5th. Valerio Lata is now in second place in the overall EMX250 classification, 22 points behind the leader.

In the first round of the top MXGP class, Italian rider Alberto Forato (SM Action KTM) finished in an excellent 5th place. In the second race, however, he was unable to repeat the same result, finishing 15th and achieving a commendable 10th place in the overall standings. Meanwhile, the riders of the MRT Racing Team Beta fought hard for the top ten but narrowly missed out. Finally, British rider Ben Watson was 12th and Italy’s Alessandro Lupino came 14th.

Galfer is an official sponsor of the Motocross World Championship for the third consecutive year, with advertising displayed around the circuit and in different stands. Galfer is also represented in the paddock area, where its brake products are on show and various activities are conducted, such as autograph sessions with the most popular riders.

The next MXGP events will be held on consecutive weekends in Águeda (Portugal) on 29 and 30 April and Arroyomolinos (Spain) from 6 to 7 May.
