GALFER rider Toni Bou, on his Montesa-Honda, kicked off the X-Trial 2021 World Championship in Andorra with a fantastic victory that leaves him at the top of the standings in a championship comprising just two events.
Toni Bou has started the 2021 X-Trial season with a brilliant victory at the Poliesportiu de Andorra, in Andorra la Vella, and becomes the first leader of the 2021 championship.
Bou delighted the Andorran public with some fantastic riding to finish the qualifying session with no penalty points, which allowed him to go straight into the final round.
In the final, against one of his toughest rivals, Adam Raga, Bou did it again completing the six sections with 0 points to Raga’s 11 to take victory in the opening event in Andorra. Another GALFER rider, Jaime Busto (Vertigo), finished third.
The next and final round of the X-Trial World Championship will be held at the Palau Sant Jordi in Barcelona on Sunday 21 November.
