THE MONLAU REPSOL CREATES THEIR OWN ENDURANCE RACE

In their constant drive to excel, the Monlau Repsol Technical School took a new challenge: organizing their own motorcycle endurance race.
Ten teams will enter the race with four-stroke engine, four cylinder Superstock 600 (STK600) motorcycles (400cc-600cc) prepared and assisted by the school students. This event will culminate the training project of the second year of the Race Motorbike Mechanics course and will allow them to implement all they have learned at this renowned school shortly before graduating.

Since term started, second year students at the Monlau Repsol have been working hard to take part in this acid test of a race. They have been preparing for months for this innovative school project. The project involves a variety of functions and responsibilities related to the Honda CBR600RR motorcycles.

To boost competitiveness all 10 motorbikes will be identical, with: Honda Moto2 engines; SC Project exhausts; suspensions optimized for endurance; GALFER brake kit (pads, discs and lines); Moto2 Dunlop tyres; and Speedfiber fairing colour matching the official Honda Endurance bikes. As for the electronics, there are 2D data and Rapidbike Racing control modules with ignition maps, injection maps (up to 8 injectors), OverRev limiter, engine brake, traction control, launch control and Quickshifter.
