Jaume Masià, on his Honda HRC Moto3 fitted with GALFER JCW1 disc brakes, clinched his second consecutive victory at Motorland and is closing in on the overall leader.
The Motorland circuit hosted the MotoGP Teruel Grand Prix for the second consecutive week under temperature conditions that were very different from the previous week, although they produced the same winner in the Moto3 category. Jaume Masià, the young Spanish rider with the Leopard Racing team, won again on the same circuit thanks to his determination during the final lap of the race and the fine tuning of his motorbike. Masià thereby achieved his second win of the season and is now in fourth place in the general classification, just 24 points off the leader, boosting his chances of winning the world championship.
In the Moto2 category, the Australian rider Remy Gardner (SAG Team) had another excellent weekend; finishing 3rd on Saturday and just missing out on a podium finish on Sunday (4th). Remy also uses GALFER brake products, specifically the JCW1 new-generation brake discs on his Kalex Moto2. Gardner is now in sixth place in the general classification for the championship.
As for the MotoGP, there was a great ride by the French rider from the Reale-Avintia team, Johan Zarco, who finished an impressive 5th in the race, one of his best results of the season and also the best finish by Ducati. His teammate Tito Rabat also succeeded in earning some points by finishing 14th.
The next two MotoGP World Championship races will be held in Valencia from 6th to 8th and from 13th to 15th November.
