The Australian rider from the SAG Team, on his Kalex bike with Racing JCW1 brake discs by GALFER, came second in the French MotoGP Moto2 GP, his best result in the 2020 season.
Remy Gardner (SAG Team) notched up a great performance in the Moto2 race in Le Mans. Despite having returned just a few weeks ago after a serious injury, the talented rider had an excellent weekend that he rounded off by finishing in second place. Remy started from the front row of the starting grid and managed to lead the race at the beginning, but due to the volatile track conditions he could not hold onto the lead and made a mistake that meant he lost several places. However, Gardner did not give up and made a comeback from 5th to 2nd place, including a spectacular overtaking manoeuvre to pass the Italian Marco Bezzecchi on the last bend of the race. This is Garner’s second podium in Moto2 in 2020 and his best result of the season. This means that the Racing JCW1 brake discs by GALFER have again won a podium finish in the Moto2 World Championship.
In the Moto3 category we saw another tight race, which was decided in the final lap. The best performance by GALFER riders was by the Spanish rider Jaume Masià (Leopard Racing) who, despite starting from pole position and leading most of the race just missed the podium with a 4th-place finish. The Spanish-born Argentine Gabriel Rodrigo (Gresini Racing) finished in 8th.
And in MotoGP, an excellent 5th spot for the French rider sponsored by GALFER, Johan Zarco (Reale-Avintia). Zarco took advantage of the state of the track in the final laps to move up several places and end the race close to a podium finish.
The next two races in the World Championship will be contested at the Motorland circuit in Aragon (Spain) from 16th to 18th and 23rd to 25th October.
