The Italian rider of the Leopard Racing team took third place in the British MotoGP and consolidates his position among the top riders in the Moto3 World Championship.
Dennis Foggia put in an excellent performance with his Moto3 bike fitted with GALFER brake discs, pads and hoses and clinched his sixth podium finish this season. The British MotoGP was an extremely fast-paced race, and the leading group broke right at the start. Foggia battled it out among the top ten but was given no opportunity for a win. On the final lap, Dennis fought off challenges by his rivals and managed to hold onto his third spot on the podium. This result places him fourth in the overall standings of the Moto3 World Championship, 83 points behind the leader. Two other GALFER riders also finished among the top ten, with Riccardo Rossi (BOE OwlRide) finishing in 9th and Carlos Tatay (Avintia Esponsorama) in 10th.
In the Moto2 category, Thomas Lüthi and Bo Bendsneyder, both with the Stop and Go Racing team, scored points. Lüthi finished in 11th place and Bendsneyder in 15th.
The next event in the MotoGP World Championship will take place at Motorland Aragón (Spain) from 10 to 12 September.
