We have witnessed a great performance by the Moto3 riders using GALFER brake components at the Silverstone circuit. Six of them have made it to the first 10 positions, among which the 1st and 3rd position.
The Spanish rider Marcos Ramírez (Leopard Racing) obtained a deserved victory; after a tight last lap between Dalla Porta and Arbolino, he made it to the finishing line with a sufficient advantage. This is Ramírez’s second victory in this season in the Moto3 category. His teammate, the Italian rider Lorenzo Dalla Porta, made it to the third position of the podium and has increased his advantage in 13 points as leader of the World Championship. After Dalla Porta, there were four GALFER riders more. The fourth and fifth positions were for two riders of the SIC58 team, Niccolo Antonelli and Tatsuki Suzuki, whereas the sixth and seventh positions were for two members of the Petronas Sprinta, Ayumu Sasaki y John McPhee; all of them were riding Honda HRC Moto3 bikes equipped with GALFER Racing brake products.
In the Moto2 category, we witnessed a great race for the SAG Racing team, whose two riders ended up very close to the podium. The Australian rider Remy Gardner was fourth (only 2 tenths of a second away from the podium and less than 1 second from the winner of the race), whereas his partner, the Japanese rider Tetsuta Naghashima, made it to the 5th position in Moto2.
In the MotoGP category, two GALFER riders managed to score: Pecco Bagnaia ended up on the la 11th position, and Karel Abraham (Reale-Avintia) in the 15th position.
The next date of the World Championship will be held in San Marino (Italy) from the 13th to the 15th of September.
