The Spanish rider from the Leopard Racing team has secured his third victory of the year in Motegi (Japan), the second consecutive one, which puts him in the sole lead of the Moto3 category with a 6-point difference.
Another weekend of the world speed championship with the same result for Galfer riders in the Moto3 category. Jaume Masià (Leopard Racing) has achieved a clear victory over his rivals, making him the top favorite to win the world champion title with six races left to be contested. Masià, who had already clinched a new pole position on Saturday, had to make a comeback in the early laps of the race due to a poor start. However, once he took the lead of the race, no one could match his intense pace. On the other hand, David Muñoz (Boé Motorsport) was the next best-placed Galfer rider in 6th position, the same result as the previous race. Muñoz rode in a second group and led it. Brazilian Diogo Moreira (MT Helmets – MSI) finished 14th, while Australian Joel Kelso (PruestelGP) was 15th.
In the Moto2 category, none of the Galfer riders from the Stop & Go team managed to score points, with Bo Bendsneyder finishing 17th and Taiga Hada in 19th.
All Galfer riders use Floatech® floating brake discs with Racing G1310 sintered pads, providing an excellent braking combination.
The next round of the world speed championship will take place in Indonesia from October 13th to 15th.
