Valerio Lata (Beddini Gas Gas Factory Junior) showed his unstoppable form once again in MX250, clinching his fourth victory of the season and closing the gap in the championship standings. Lata, relying on the precise braking power of his Galfer discs and pads, won the first race on Saturday and secured a second-place finish on Sunday after a fierce battle with eventual winner Mathis Valin. Despite Valin’s (4-1) strong performance, the overall victory went to Lata.
Lata’s teammate, Mads Fredsoe (Beddini Gas Gas Factory Junior), also delivered a solid performance, finishing in the top 5 in the first race, while Ivano Van Erp (Team VRT Yamaha Factory Juniors) claimed third place in the opening race. The top three riders, Valin, Lata, and Valk, are all contenders for the title with just two rounds remaining. Valin leads the championship by 11 points over Lata and 19 over Valk. The next round will take place in Turkey on September 7th and 8th.
