MULTIPLE VICTORIES FOR GALFER RIDERS TO BEGIN ENDURO GP 2021

GALFER riders took home eight victories in the first EnduroGP of the season in Portugal, with excellent performances by Brad Freeman, Wil Ruprecht, Steve Holcombe, Laia Sanz, Lorenzo Macoritto, Matteo Pavoni and Albin Norrbin.

The first round of the EnduroGP 2021 season is overwhelmingly dominated by GALFER riders from the Beta Factory, TM Boano and Fantic d’Arpa teams.

In the E3 category, British rider Brad Freeman (Beta Factory) dominated both days ahead of Jaume Betriu (KTM WP). He also took the scratch victory on Saturday and came second on Sunday.

The E2 category saw intense competition between two GALFER riders: Steve Holcombe (Beta Factory) and Wil Ruprecht (TM Boano). Holcombe won on the first day, while Ruprecht won on the second, as well as recording the best time in the EnduroGP general classification on Sunday.

The women’s category recorded a great victory for Laia Sanz (GASGAS) on Saturday in her return to the Enduro World Championship following a four-year absence. Laia finished third in Sunday’s race.

In the Junior category, two TM-Boano riders dominated the weekend. Lorenzo Macoritto won on Saturday and Matteo Pavoni on Sunday, both on their Tm bikes equipped with GALFER brake products.

And in the Youth category, Albin Norrbin (Fantic d’Arpa) won on Sunday. This victory, added to his second place on Saturday, made him the overall leader.

All the GALFER riders use fixed or floating Disc Wave® discs together with Racing G1396R sintered brake pads.

The next round of the EnduroGP World Championship will be held in Edolo (Italy) from 25 to 27 June.
