The Italian rider from the Leopard Racing team has secured 3rd position in the Catalunya MotoGP with his Moto3 Honda HRC equipped with GALFER brake products.
The Catalunya MotoGP Grand Prix was contested at the weekend under different conditions than usual, with cooler weather and no spectators. Despite this, there were some really exciting races in which the GALFER riders competed in all categories.
Moto3 saw another evenly-fought race in a group which was decided on the last lap, with Dennis Foggia (Leopard Racing) managing to claim a place on the podium. His teammate Jaume Masià finished 7th, while Sergio García Dols (Estrella Galicia 0,0) secured a solid 4th place, his best result this season.
In the Moto2 category, Australian rider Remy Gardner (SAG Team) returned to competition after a recent operation but was unable to give 100%. Despite this, Remy rode close to the Top Ten until a long lap penalty ruined his chances of points and he eventually had to settle for 16th position.
As for the MotoGP Premier class, another great performance was delivered by Italian rider Pecco Bagnaia (Pramac Racing), who finished in 6th position after making a great comeback in the race.
The next round of the World Speed Championship will be contested in Le Mans (France) from 9 to 11 October.
