With two races remaining in the Finetwork FIM JuniorGP™ World Championship and following a frenetic weekend in Misano, Team Estrella Galicia 0,0’s José Antonio Rueda has been declared World Champion with a 90-point difference.
The 9th round of the Championship was held this past weekend, on Saturday afternoon, at Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli, as part of the Gryfyn San Marino and Rimini Riviera GP, with rising Spanish star José Rueda becoming the first Andalusian rider to conquer a motorcycle racing world championship.
Although he finished the race in 2nd position, 0.035 seconds behind the first position, and with three races to go in the season, he sealed his victory with 198 points and 5 victories, 90 ahead of his closest rival, David Salvador.
The next race will be held at the MotorLand Aragón circuit, on 9 October.
