HOLCOMBE, FREEMAN AND VERONA – 2020 ENDURO WORLD CHAMPIONS WITH GALFER

The three GALFER riders were crowned 2020 Enduro World Champions in the final race in Portugal: Steve Holcombe in EnduroGP and in E2, Brad Freeman in E3 and Andrea Verona in E1.

Amazing results by the GALFER riders at the 2020 EnduroGP World Championship, who managed to win three titles in the three main categories as well as the overall “scratch” class in the final race held in Marco de Canaveses (Portugal).

Three championships were decided on Saturday’s race day in the E1, E2 and E3 categories, thanks to the victories of Andrea Verona (TM Racing) in E1, of Steve Holcombe (Beta) in E2 and of Brad Freeman (Beta) in E3. The three riders have dominated the season, demonstrating their clear superiority over their rivals, and their GALFER brake parts (“Disc Wave®” brake discs and G1396R brake pads) have performed superbly in all kinds of conditions.

This meant that only the overall 2020 EnduroGP class remained to be decided on Sunday’s race day, which was contested by two British riders from the Beta team: Steve Holcombe and Brad Freeman. After an incredibly competitive day’s racing in extremely wet and muddy conditions, Steve Holcombe managed to see off his rival and clinched the 2020 EnduroGP title. This is the 7th world championship that Holcombe has won in his career, all with Beta and GALFER.

In other news, we should highlight the great season the Spanish rider Jaume Betriu (KTM), the French rider Loic Larrieu (TM Racing) and the British rider Jed Etchells (Fantic) have all had, who finished as runners-up in the E3, E2 and Youth categories respectively.
