Great season finale for the two younger GALFER riders of Moto3. At just 16 years old Sergio García Dols (Estrella Galicia 0,0) and Xavi Artigas (Leopard Junior Team) made history and achieved their first victory and podium, respectively, during the last race of the 2019 season. Sergio García, rookie of the season, won his first Moto3 race in a thrilling race while riding with the leading group. Sergio managed to pass Migno in the last bend of the last lap with a smooth braking thanks to the GALGER braking products he use in his Honda HRC Moto3 (Disc Wave® Racing CW1, sintered brake pads and metal lines). On the other hand, Xavi Artigas (Leopard Junior Team) proved that he is ready for the World Championship and climbed up to the podium in his first try, also with GALFER braking products. Artigas managed to lead the race until there were two laps to go but he finally settled third, a great result for his debut on the Moto3 world Championship. Japanese rider Tatsuki Suzuki (SIC58) was fourth.
In Moto2 and MotoGP, several GALFER riders scored points. In Moto2, British Sam Lowes (Gresini Racing) finished 10th while Australian Remy Gardner (SAG Team) was 14th. In MotoGP, Spanish rider Tito Rabat (Reale-Avintia) was 11th and his team mate Karel Abraham was 14th.
With these results, the GALFER riders sum up 10 victories and 17 podiums in the 2019 season.
