GREAT BRITAIN WINS THE INTERNATIONAL SIX DAYS’ ENDURO WITH HOLCOMBE AND ETCHELLS

The British team won the ISDE 2022 with two Galfer representatives in their ranks: Steve Holcombe (Beta Factory) and Jed Etchells (Fantic d’Arpa). Meanwhile, Spain took third place on the podium.

The town of Le Puy en Velay (France) hosted the 96th edition of the Six Days’ Enduro — the most prestigious and demanding annual event for the fastest riders in the world. Organised into national teams and with four riders in each category, they competed over six intense days.

The men’s victory in the 2022 edition of the World Trophy went to Great Britain, formed by Holcombe, Watson, Etchells and McCanney, two of whom are Galfer representatives racing with the brand’s brake products. The team from Spain finished in third position, following tight competition from the Italians. Three Galfer riders competed for the Spanish team: Jaume Betriu (WP Eric Augé), Marc Sans (Husqvarna) and Bernat Cortés (Gas Gas).

Individual highlights included  first position for Zach Pichon (Sherco) in the junior men’s category, third position for Mireia Badia (Rieju) in the women’s category and fourth position for Steve Holcombe (Beta) in the men’s category. All of these riders entrust the braking of their powerful bikes to Galfer’s “Disc Wave®” brake discs and sintered brake pads.
