The 2025 season marks a historic milestone in the partnership between Galfer and Ducati. After conquering the 2024 Italian MX1 Championship with Alessandro Lupino, the team is now preparing to take on the world’s best riders in the MXGP World Championship.
With Swissrider Jeremy Seewer and Italian talent Mattia Guadagnini, Galfer will compete in 20 thrilling MXGP races across four continents, kicking off with the Ducati Factory MX Team’s debut in Córdoba, Argentina, on March 2, 2025, and concluding in Darwin, Australia, on September 21, 2025.
Thanks to its extensive motorsport expertise, Spanish braking specialist Galfer has developed cutting-edge brake discs to ensure maximum performance for Ducati Factory MX Team riders Jeremy Seewer and Mattia Guadagnini.
The Ducati Desmo450 MX will be equipped with Galfer braking discs, designed to tackle the challenges of one of the world’s most demanding and prestigious championships. Depending on climatic and terrain conditions, they will feature either grooved “Disc Wave®” or “Disc Shark®” discs, measuring ø260mm at the front and ø240mm at the rear. Both models stand out for their lightweight design and superior braking power, but their selection will depend on the environment: Grooved Wave model delivers optimal performance in extreme mud and water conditions. Shark model is the best choice for dry terrains and high temperatures, ensuring stability and maximum braking efficiency.
