The EnduroGP World Championship was kicked off last weekend in Fafe, Portugal, where motorbike riders equipped with Galfer braking systems delivered fantastic performances and secured leading positions in various classes.
Hamish Macdonald Dominates Enduro3
Sherco Factory Racing pilot Hamish Macdonald made it a great day for Sherco and Galfer in the Enduro3 class. On day one, he led an all-Sherco podium, trailed by teammates Antoine Magain and Julien Roussaly. On day two, Macdonald again proved unbeatable, further cementing his title position.
Other Galfer Riders on the Podium
Apart from Macdonald, other riders who were using Galfer braking technology made it to the podium with good results:
Mikael Persson (Triumph Factory Racing Enduro Team): Persson, riding in the blue tribe at a world debut with Triumph, won third position on each of the two race days in the Enduro1 category, highlighting Galfer brake performance under championship race conditions.
Jamie McCanney (Triumph Factory Racing Enduro Team): McCanney showcased reliability in scoring fourth and fifth positions on the Enduro1 leaderboard across the weekend to help Triumph on their debut at the top class.
