Galfer, a global reference brand in the production of high-performance braking systems for the two-wheel world, will take center stage at EICMA 2025 with a showcase full of technological and racing innovations.
At the Galfer stand (Hall 10 – Stand G76), visitors will get an up-close look at the new Floatech® Road disc, which for the first time brings to the road the same technologies used in the MotoGP™ World Championship. After years of development and success in Moto2™ and Moto3™ categories, the Floatech® Road allows all riders to enjoy a daily sporty riding experience with the same level of control, safety, and performance as professional racers.
Born from the Racing world and already a 2024 Moto2™ World Champion with Ai Ogura and the MSI team, the Floatech® Road retains all its Racing DNA but has been optimized for road use, ensuring comfort, performance, and durability. Its patented connection system between the track and core, using pins and springs, reduces noise and vibration, ensures controlled floating movement and perfect alignment with the pads, improving braking precision and system lifespan.
The redesigned braking track delivers stable, progressive, and consistent braking in all situations, from city traffic to mountain curves, even under high thermal loads, while superior heat management ensures optimal performance in all conditions. The Floatech® Road is also certified according to ECE R90, confirming its full compliance with European safety standards for road use.
Alongside the innovative Floatech® Road, Galfer will also unveil at EICMA 2025 the new Kashima finish for the Floatech® Racing disc, a superior aesthetic coating with great resistance and a premium look, designed for the most demanding riders.
The Floatech® Racing Kashima’s core design has been optimized to achieve the best stiffness-to-weight ratio, while the Floatech® system keeps the disc aligned and stable, ensuring precise and consistent braking. The floating mount guarantees optimal and long-lasting performance, allowing riders to tackle every corner with the control, safety, and comfort typical of racing solutions, now available for everyday use on flagship models such as the Yamaha YZF-R1, R6, and R9, Ducati Panigale R / S / V4, Ducati Streetfighter V4, and Honda CBR 1000 RR-R, among others.

In addition to the new products, the full Galfer Moto range will be on display at EICMA, featuring a wide selection of brake discs and pads designed for every type of use: from road to off-road, from touring to racing. Galfer discs are available in various configurations (fixed, floating, W, Shark®, CUBIQ®, Skull, round) and made from high-strength materials to ensure powerful, stable, and precise braking.
Galfer brake pads, available in different compounds (semi-metallic and sintered), offer the best balance between braking power, durability, and modulation, adapting to any riding style and motorcycle type.
This comprehensive range enables Galfer to offer tailor-made solutions for riders of all levels, combining performance, safety, and innovation.

EICMA 2025 will also mark an important milestone in Galfer’s growth: the official celebration of the opening of Galfer USA. This strategic step, implemented during the year, significantly strengthens the brand’s international presence and its ability to optimally serve the North American market.
The new subsidiary, now fully operational, allows for direct customer support, faster distribution, and a better response to the specific needs of U.S. riders. Galfer USA represents not only a commercial expansion but also a tangible sign of the company’s global ambition, reaffirming its role as a world leader in braking system technology.
What will make Galfer’s presence at EICMA 2025 truly special are once again the great champions who have chosen its braking systems. Throughout the show, there will be several autograph sessions with Galfer riders such as Tony Cairoli, Mattia Guadagnini, Moto2 Team MSI Racing riders Ángel Piqueras and Iván Ortolà, Enduro champions Steve Holcombe and Brad Freeman, as well as Morgan Lesiardo and legend Marco Melandri, offering fans a unique opportunity to connect with the racing world.
Additionally, Galfer will host the “Brake Battle”, a dynamic activity focused on braking precision and reaction time, where visitors can test their reflexes and compete for exclusive prizes, including 2 passes with accommodation for MotoGP or MXGP 2026.
