It was a great weekend for Galfer riders, especially for Brad Freeman, Steve Holcombe, Francesca Nocera, and Mireia Badia, who clinched victories in their respective categories at the Valpaços GP in Portugal.
In the E1 category, British rider Steve Holcombe (Honda RedMoto) secured 2nd and 1st places on both days, also topping the overall EnduroGP standings. As usual, Steve displayed masterful and swift riding with his Honda equipped with Galfer Disc Wave® front brake discs and Disc Shark® rear discs to outpace his competitors. This keeps Steve Holcombe as the leader in E1 and EnduroGP, tied on points with Josep García.
In the E2 category, Italian rider Samuele Bernardini (Honda RedMoto) made it to the podium on both days with a 2nd and 3rd position. On the other hand, British rider Nathan Watson (Beta Factory) finished second on Sunday but couldn’t complete the race on the first day.
In the E3 category, Brad Freeman (Beta Factory) showed absolute dominance, winning both days with a considerable lead. There were also podium finishes for Galfer riders Matteo Cavallo (TM Boano) and Hamish Macdonald (Sherco CH Racing), both securing second place on different days of the competition. This tightens the overall standings in the E3 category, with the three Galfer riders separated by just three points.
In the women’s category, double victory for Galfer representatives. Italian rider Francesca Nocera (Honda RedMoto) claimed victory on Saturday, while Spanish rider Mireia Badia (Rieju) did the same on Sunday, maintaining her lead in the overall standings. Their teammate Rosie Rowett also managed to step onto the podium on both days.
In the Junior category, young rider Manolo Morettini (Honda RedMoto) secured the third spot on the podium on Sunday.
All Galfer representatives use Galfer Disc Wave® RW front brake discs and either solid WLL Disc Wave® or the new Disc Shark® HW discs, depending on the terrain conditions, along with Racing G1396R sintered brake pads.
The next round of the EnduroGP calendar will take place from May 10th to 12th in Bacau, Romania.
