In the first race of the Supersport 600 category, Niki Tuuli (Dynavolt-Triumph) made it to the first podium of the season thanks to his fantastic performance. Niki was fourth on the starting line after a good qualifying session, but dropped one position during the first lap of the race. From then on, the Finnish rider managed to come back and take second place, battling with Federico Caricasulo most of the time, although he finally had to make do with third position. Teammate Harry Truelove took 17th position, while Italy’s Andrea Mantovani (Evan Bros) was unable to finish.
In the second race, Niki Tuuli had to contend with a physical issue and was unable to show his full potential. He still managed to finish sixth, winning precious points for the overall classification. Tuuli ranks fifth in the WSSP 600 overall, amassing 46 points after two Grands Prix. Meanwhile, Andrea Mantovani only managed to finish 17th.
