EMMA BRISTOW REACHES HER TENTH TRIAL WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP WITH GALFER

The unstoppable British rider Emma Bristow (Sherco) has made history once again in the world of Trial by securing her tenth TrialGP world title, after an epic battle against Spain’s Berta Abellán. Additionally, Jack Peace, also from Sherco, was crowned champion in the Trial2 category, marking an unforgettable weekend for Galfer riders.

The final round of the 2024 TrialGP season took place in Ripoll, Spain, and the tension was at its peak, with the women’s and Trial2 titles still up for grabs, following Toni Bou’s incredible 18th world title secured in the previous round.

The showdown between Emma Bristow (Sherco) and Berta Abellán (Scorpa) did not disappoint. Abellán set the championship on fire on Saturday by clinching a narrow victory, increasing the pressure on the overall standings. But Bristow, with unwavering determination and trust in her Galfer equipment, claimed victory on Sunday, sealing her tenth world championship, solidifying her legacy as a Trial legend. Bristow finished the championship with 149 points, beating Abellán by 10 points. Italy’s Sofia Rabino also made her mark by climbing the podium on Sunday and finishing third overall with 116 points.

In the Trial2 category, Sherco’s Jack Peace accumulated the points needed to be crowned world champion, beating his teammate Arnau Farré. Thus, Galfer added two more titles to its impressive track record during the exciting weekend in Ripoll.

And, of course, in the premier TrialGP category, Toni Bou (Montesa Honda), the greatest Trial rider of all time, once again demonstrated why he is the undisputed king. Bou won on both days of competition, amassing a total of 237 points, 57 ahead of his teammate Gabriel Marcelli, who finished as runner-up. Jaime Busto, riding his Gas Gas equipped with Galfer products, rounded out the podium in third place.

All Galfer Trial riders rely on “Disc Wave®” W front and WLLG rear brake discs, as well as semi-metallic G1805 or sintered G1395 brake pads, adapting to the demands of every terrain.
