Emma Bistow (Sherco) and Toni Bou (Montesa-Honda) claimed victory in the 2020 TrialGP opening event at Isola 2000 (France).
The 2020 TrialGP got off to a similar start to the way the 2019 season ended, with the GALFER riders at the top of the classification.
In the women’s category, the GALFER riders scored a hat-trick in the final classification. British rider Emma Bristow (Sherco) won in both rounds, while Spanish riders Berta Abellán (Vertigo) and Sandra Gómez (TRRS) finished in second and third place, respectively.
The TrialGP men’s category was much more equal in the final classification, with four GALFER riders battling for victory. Finally, the 27-times world champion Toni Bou (Montesa-Honda) managed to win with just a one-point lead over Jaime Busto (Vertigo) and two points over Adam Raga (TRRS). Jeroni Fajardo (Sherco) finished in fourth place. All Elite-category riders in the Trial World Championship use GALFER brake products: Disc Wave® W at the front and WLL at the rear, as well as G1805- or G1395-compound brake pads depending on the weather conditions and terrain.
The next round of the TrialGP World Championship will be contested in Spain from 11 to 13 September.
