The Galfer riders from the Beta Factory team have showcased their excellence in the past two weeks, competing in Finland and Sweden, by occupying all podium positions with 7 victories in 8 races.
Following the conclusion of the weekend, the two consecutive Grand Prix races of the EnduroGP competition were completed, before a brief break of several weeks. During these events, they encountered a combination of grassy terrain with gravel and artificial obstacles. Brad Freeman, who holds a 42-point lead over his closest rival, achieved his fourth consecutive victory this past weekend in the E3 category, solidifying his undisputed first-place position. His performances, both in Finland and Sweden, were excellent, without making any mistakes. Riding his Beta 300 equipped with Galfer’s fixed slotted RW Disc Wave rotors, along with the high-performance Galfer G1396R brake pads. On the other hand, his teammate and compatriot Steve Holcombe secured three victories in the last two Grand Prix races in the E2 category and finished second in the EnduroGP standings, behind Brad.
It is important to highlight the performance of Hamish Macdonald, who achieved a double podium in Finland, securing the second and third positions, respectively. However, he wasn’t as fortunate in Sweden and settled for a Top 5 finish by obtaining fourth and fifth place in the E2 category. On the other hand, his teammate Morgan Lesiardo, competing with a Sherco in the E3 category, couldn’t showcase his full potential in Finland, finishing in the Top Ten with eighth and sixth place. However, he demonstrated his true talent in Sweden by achieving a double podium with a solid second and third position. In the same category, we find Antoine Magain, who secured a third-place podium in Finland.
In the women’s category, Rosie Rowett’s performance was admirable, earning two second-place finishes between Finland and Sweden. Unfortunately, her teammate Mireia suffered a fall in Finland, preventing her from completing the first race and competing in the following ones.
The next event will take place in Slovakia on July 1st and 2nd, at the Gelnica circuit.
