GALFER riders Toni Bou (Montesa-Honda) and Emma Bristow (Sherco) achieved victory in the second round of the 2020 FIM Trial World Championship, bringing them closer to another TrialGP title.
The current world champions in the Elite Men’s (Toni Bou) and Elite Women’s (Emma Bristow) asserted their authority over their rivals in the two races contested in the 2020 TrialGP World Championship at Pobladura de las Regueras (Spain) in the second round of the 2020 FIM Trial World Championship.
In the Men’s category, four of the five top finishers in both races were using GALFER break products. Toni Bou (Montesa-Honda) claimed two wins, followed by Adam Raga (TRRS), Gabriel Marcelli (Montesa) and Jaime Busto (Vertigo). All use GALFER Disc Wave® WLL brake discs and G1805- or G1395-compound brake pads depending on the terrain. Toni Bou now heads the general standings and has extended his lead over Adam Raga by 10 points.
In the Women’s category, British rider Emma Bristow (Sherco) gave her rivals no opportunity to get ahead of her, and clinched her fourth win of the season. The other two podium spots went to two GALFER riders, Sandra Gómez (TRRS) and Berta Abellán (Vertigo). Bristow heads the overall standings of the World Championship, with a 16-point lead over Gómez and Abellán at the mid-stage of the Championship.
The next round of the Championship will be contested in Andorra next week, on 19 and 20 September.
