DOUBLE WIN FOR LYNN VALK IN PORTUGAL

The Dutch rider of the JK Racing Yamaha team won both races at the WMX GP of Portugal and now leads the overall standings by six points.

Impressive performance by Galfer rider Lynn Valk (JK Racing Yamaha) in the women’s Motocross World Championship. The young rider, who already won the inaugural race of the championship a few weeks ago, achieved another two clear victories at the Agueda circuit (Portugal), making her the leader and the best rider of the championship so far. Valk uses Galfer “Disc Wave®” brake discs in their slotted fixed version—DF298RW at the front and DF531RW at the rear—as well as Racing G1396R sintered compound brake pads.

In the women’s category, German rider Larissa Papenmeier (Yamaha) took third place on the podium, with two solid results, and Danish rider Malou Jakobsen (KTM Scandinavia) came sixth. Both are also Galfer riders.

In the MXGP premier class, Galfer representatives secured three top ten spots, with Spaniard Rubén Fernández (114 Motorsport) in 8th, Italian Alberto Forato (SM Action Gas Gas) in 9th and Belgian Jeremy Van Horebeek (Beta SDM Corse) in 10th.

In MX2, Italian rider Andrea Adamo (SM Action Gas Gas) finished 6th with two good results. Thanks to this result, Adamo remains fifth overall in the MX2 World Championship.

The next MXGP round will take place in Trentino (Italy) from 9 to 10 April.
