Krummenacher and Caricasulo lead the Supersport World Championship. Krummenacher won his third victory of the season ahead of his team mate Caricasulo, both riding a Yamaha YZF 600 fitted with GALFER Racing Disc Wave®.
The Supersport race was marked by the crash of the three riders riding after Krummenacher and Caricasulo. The Evan Bros riders decided the race in the last lap when Randy passed Federico and won. Krummenacher leads the WSSP with 115 points, 22 more than Caricasulo, who’s 15 points ahead the third.
In WSBK, Eugene Laverty crashed on Friday and was forced to abandon the GP to undergo surgery in both hands. His substitute, British rider Tommy Bridewell, was able to score after finishing 12th and 11th. The third race and the Supersport 300 event were cancelled due to rain.
The next Superbikes World Championship event will be held at Jerez (Spain) on June, 7-9.
