DOUBLE PODIUM FOR GALFER AT THE SPANISH GP

David Muñoz and Iván Ortolá have reached the podium in the thrilling Moto3 race, relying on Galfer Floatech® brake discs and Racing G1310 sintered pads.

It’s been a fantastic weekend for Galfer riders in the world of speed, securing two podiums and up to eight Top10 finishes across the Moto2 and Moto3 categories.

In the Moto3 category, Spaniards David Muñoz (Boe Motorsports) and Iván Ortolá (MT Helmets – MSI) have delivered a stellar performance in the leading group, battling for victory throughout. Although they ultimately settled for second and third positions on the podium, respectively, both were within one second of the winner. Behind them, three other Galfer riders have also impressed, with Japanese rider Ryusei Yamanaka (MT Helmets – MSI) in 4th, Australian Joel Kelso (Boe Motorsports) in 5th, and Spanish rider Adrián Fernández (Leopard Racing) in 6th. Angel Piqueras (Leopard Racing) rounded off the Top10.

The prominent presence of the “Galfer fleet” in this Grand Prix underscores the solid results that highlight the excellent braking performance of Galfer Racing products.

In the Moto2 category, the two Galfer riders from the MT Helmets – MSI team have once again shined, as they have throughout the season. Spanish rider Sergio García, leading the overall standings, demonstrated his pace to fight for the podium, although he ultimately settled for fourth place. This result places him second in the overall standings, just 5 points behind the current leader. His teammate, Japanese rider AI Ogura, completed a spectacular comeback from 18th position to finish sixth, showcasing great fighting spirit and resilience. Ogura sits fifth in the overall standings.

Both Galfer riders rely on Floatech® brake discs in Shark prototype version, one of the most innovative in current MotoGP.

The next round of the speed championship will take place at the Le Mans circuit (French GP) from May 10th to 12th.
