The Moto3 race that took place at the Chang circuit (Thailand) was very even and now Lorenzo Dalla Porta, the Italian rider of the Leopard Racing team has the title nearer. With the second place won in Thailand, Leonardo keeps the leadership and widens the gap with his immediate chaser by 22 points and there are still four races to go. The Spanish rider Alonso López (Estrella Galicia 0,0), won his first World podium at the Chang circuit. Marcos Ramírez (Leopard Racing), another GALFER representative, was fourth, crossing the line less than one second apart.
In Moto2, GALFER rider Remy Gardner was 12th. His SAG team mate Tetsuta Nagashima was 15th. Nagashima started from the second positions and Gardner from the fifth, but they were not able to keep their positions due to asphalt grip. Sam Lowes (Gresini Racing) crashed.
In MotoGP, Italian rider Pecco Bagnaia finished 11th, less than one second behind the Top Ten. Tito Rabat and Karel Abraham (Reale-Avintia) finished 17th and 19th, respectively.
We at GALFER want to congratulate Marc Márquez on his 8th MotoGP World Championship. Marc won his two first titles while using GALFER brake products in 125cc and Moto2.
The next MotoGP championship will be held in Motegi (Japan) from October 18th to 20th, 2019.
