The famous Dutch circuit of Assen was the stage of the eighth round of the 2019 World Speed Championship, where the GALFER rider played a leading role once again.
On the Moto3 category, double podium for the pilots who use the braking products of the Spanish brand: the Italian rider Lorenzo Dalla Porta (Leopard Racing) obtained the 2nd position (just 45 milliseconds away from victory), whereas the Czech rider Jakub Kornfeil (Pustel GP) got 3rd position. The 4th and 5th positions were for Gabriel Rodrigo (Gresini Racing) and John McPhee (Petronas-Sprinta). The GALFER riders did a good performance in Assen: 6 out of the first 10 classified were pilots using GALFER brake components.
On the Moto2 category, Remy Gardner (SAG Racing) was unlucky again. He had started on the Pole Position, but he suffered a fall during the race. His team partner, the Japanese rider Tetsuta Nagashima, achieved his best result to date (5ª position in the intermediate category). The British rider Sam Lowes (Gresini Racing) also suffered a fall while on second position.
On the MotoGP race, the Italian pilot from the team Pramac Racing, Pecco Bagnaia, obtained 2 points thanks to his 14th final position. On the other hand, it proved to be a difficult weekend for the members of the team Reale-Avintia, who ended up with no points.
The next race on the MotoGP calendar will be held next weekend in Saschenring (Germany).
