The British rider from the Beta Factory team won both races in the EnduroGP of Italy and consolidated his leadership in the general standings.
There was a great performance from Brad Freeman (Beta), who won both days in his E3 class and took the lead in the overall EnduroGP standings ahead of Australian Wil Ruprecht (TM Boano), both GALFER riders. The battle between the two riders was intense on the first day of competition, with Freeman leading Ruprecht by just two seconds after almost an hour of competition over difficult terrain. On the second day, Brad Freeman won again, 27 seconds ahead of Wil Ruprecht, to become the overall winner of the EnduroGP of Italy. Freeman now lies 10 points ahead of Ruprecht in the overall standings.
The most outstanding results by category were as follows: in E3, victories for Freeman (Beta) and second place finishes for Jaume Betriu (WP KTM Eric Augé). In E2, Wil Ruprecht (TM Boano) won and Steve Holcombe (Beta) took second place on the Sunday. In Enduro Junior there were two wins for Matteo Pavoni (TM Boano) and two third place finishes for Lorenzo Macoritto (TM Racing). And in Enduro Youth, there was a victory for Albin Norrbin (Fantic d’Arpa) on the second day of competition.
All the riders mentioned above are taking part in the EnduroGP World Championship using GALFER brake components on their bikes with Disc Wave® RW front and WLL rear brake discs together with Sinter Racing G1396R brake pads.
The next round of the EnduroGP will be held in Estonia on 16-18 July.
