Absolute and European Double in Motocross

Galfer Concludes a Historic 2025 Season with Four World-Level Podiums

The 2025 Motocross World Championship season has been exceptional for the riders on the Galfer team, who have achieved two world podiums and two European podiums, demonstrating the performance and reliability of the Spanish brand’s braking systems at the elite level of motorsport. These achievements are the result of a perfect combination of rider talent and Galfer’s cutting-edge technology, which has been a key factor in the most demanding conditions.

Veteran Glenn Coldenhoff finished the season with a commendable third place in the premier MXGP category, where his consistency with six podium finishes was fundamental. Coldenhoff trusted Galfer’s Disc Shark®, specifically designed to provide stable and efficient braking under high-temperature conditions, ensuring maximum braking power when it was needed most.

Kiara Fontanesi, for her part, achieved the World Vice-Championship in WMX with three overall victories during the campaign. The Italian rider also opted for the Disc Shark®, which provided her with the necessary precision and durability to dominate on the most technical circuits, where braking makes the difference between victory and defeat.

The young talent supported by Galfer has shone brightly. Latvian Janis Reisulis was crowned EMX250 European Champion after a spectacular season, while Italian Nicolò Alvisi did the same in the EMX125 category. Both riders used Galfer’s W discs, whose self-cleaning technology proved crucial in muddy conditions, allowing them to maintain optimal braking performance regardless of weather adversities.

These riders, like the rest of the team, used the winning Galfer combination: W or Disc Shark® discs, selected according to the characteristics of each circuit, and the Racing G1396R sintered compound brake pads, which offer maximum braking power and thermal stability in all conditions.

Galfer’s technological versatility has allowed its riders to face every race with maximum confidence. While the Disc Shark® have demonstrated their superiority in dry and high-temperature conditions, reducing operating temperature by up to 30% and increasing pad life by between 25% and 40%, the W discs have excelled in muddy conditions thanks to their design that prevents debris buildup. This adaptability has been key to the successes achieved.

From Galfer, we would like to extend our most sincere congratulations to Glenn, Kiara, Janis, and Nicolò for these impressive achievements. Their talent, dedication, and fighting spirit, combined with the performance and reliability of Galfer technology, have been the key to a season that will go down in history. We also congratulate their teams and technicians, whose tireless work has been fundamental in reaching these great heights.
