Toni Bou and his Montesa-Honda triumphed in the third round of the 2020 X-Trial World Championship in an incredibly close final with Adam Raga.
GALFER riders Toni Bou (Montesa-Honda) and Adam Raga (TRRS) put on a spectacular Trial show in Budapest (Hungary) and battled for supremacy until the last second of the final.
Both managed to qualify for the final with fewer penalties than their other six rivals. In the final, Adam Raga was in top form and made very few mistakes, but Toni Bou managed to tie his score in the last two sections by not incurring a single penalty. In the run-off, both made the same mistake but the final victory was taken by the Montesa-Honda rider thanks to his better score in the semi-final. Both Toni Bou and Adam Raga used GALFER brake parts in their Montesa-Honda and TRRS bikes, respectively (WLLG Disc Wave® discs and G1805 pads).
Gabriel Marcelli (Montesa) achieved an impressive third place, also demonstrating a high standard of riding.
Toni Bou remains unbeaten in the 2020 X-Trial World Championship after three rounds, leading with a 15-point advantage over Adam Raga in second place.
The next round will be held on 2 February at the Palau Sant Jordi sporting arena in Barcelona.
