A SENSATIONAL COMEBACK VICTORY FOR DENNIS FOGGIA

Dennis Foggia took his fifth win of the season in Moto3 after starting from 14th place and is now just 21 points behind the leader with two races to go.

The Italian Leopard Racing rider continues to prove that he is the in-form rider in the Moto3 class of the 2021 World Championship. Foggia took his fifth victory of the season at the Emilia Romagna MotoGP thanks to a spectacular comeback from 14th position on the grid. His rivals didn’t stand a chance; he passed each of them one by one as they succumbed to his incredible pace. This victory leaves Foggia only 21 points behind Pedro Acosta, who leads the overall standings with two races remaining in the championship. Dennis’ Moto3 bike is equipped with GALFER brake products: JCW1 “Disc Wave®” disc brakes, G1310 sintered brake pads and metal brake lines.

Other notable performances were produced by Stefano Nepa (Boe Owlride), who battled for the podium throughout the race to finish 5th, and Xavi Artigas, Foggia’s team-mate at Leopard Racing, who finished 9th.

In the Moto2 class, the riders from the Stop & Go team had a good result, managing to score points. Dutch rider Bo Bendsneyder finished 12th, while his Swiss team-mate Thomas Lüthi finished 14th.

The next round of the MotoGP World Championship will be held at the Algarve circuit in Portugal from 5 to 7 November.
