The Italian driver in the Evan Bros team secured pole position and won the two races in the Supersport 600 class of the Spanish GP.
A great performance by Andrea Locatelli (Evan Bros) and his Yamaha YZF 6R fitted with GALFER brake products. Together, they completely dominated the second event of the WorldSBK season, which was held at the Jerez race track.
Andrea had already achieved the best time in the classification on Saturday, with over half a second over his rivals. Later, Locatelli confidently claimed the victory in the first heat, leading it at all times and displaying his formidable supremacy over the other drivers in this category.
And history repeated itself on Sunday with another victory for Andrea Locatelli in the second heat, further consolidating his leadership in the Supersport 600 world classification. Thanks to his three victories this season, Locatelli now has a 15-point lead over second place.
In addition, Raffaele de Rosa, also representing GALFER in this category, obtained two fifth places in the two heats held in Jerez.
The next world Superbike event will be held in Portimao (Portugal) from 7 to 9 August.
