Toni Bou, Randy Krummenacher, Lorenzo Dalla Porta, Steve Holcombe, and Emma Bristow are some of the motorbike GALFER riders who won the World Championships on their specialties and classes using GALFER brake products on their competition bikes.
In the “Road” class, Randy Krummenacher (Evan Bros) won his first WSBK Supersport world title, the first also for GALFER. In Moto3, Italian rider Lorenzo Dalla Porta (Leopard Racing) won the third consecutive title for the Spanish brand after Joan Mir in 2017 and Jorge Martín in 2018. Another important victory has been Jeremy Alcoba’s (Laglisse Academy) in the Moto3 Junior World Championship. All the riders used GALFER Disc Wave® Racing CW1, sintered brake pads and metal lines in their competitions bikes.
In “Off-Road” the GALFER representatives triumphed again and won most of the Trial and Enduro world titles. In Trial, Toni Bou (Montesa-Honda) keeps being unreachable and won again both X-Trial (indoor) and TrialGP (outdoor) in 2019, while Emma Bristow (Sherco) won the Women’s class. Among others, they achieved their victories thanks to the GALFER brake products: WLLG discs certified by the FIM and semi-metallic or sintered brake pads, depending on the terrain conditions.
In Enduro the British rider Steve Holcombe (Beta) regained the World E3 title, and Loic Larrieu and Andrea Verona (both of the TM Racing) won the E2 and EJr titles, respectively. They all used fixed or floating Disc Wave® by GALFER as well as the Sinter Sport Racing G1396R brake pads, recently launched by GALFER.
In Motocross the young rider Valerio Lata (Marchetti Racing Team) was the fastest rider of the world in MX85 using the Spanish brand brake components.
