The world Supersport 600 champion clinched his 12th victory of the season at the final race of the year held in Estoril (Portugal).
Andrea Locatelli and his Evan Bros team proved to be unbeatable in the 2020 season, with 12 out of 15 possible victories. Locatelli and his Yamaha YZF R-6, fitted with GALFER Racing JCW1 brake discs, came out on top in the first GP race in Estoril and managed a second-place finish in the second race. This means that Andrea Locatelli has amassed a total of 333 points, 104 more than his closest rival. In the same Supersport 600 category, Raffaele de Rosa (MV Agusta) also managed a podium finish in both races, with 2nd in the first and 3rd in the second, also using GALFER brake products.
This means that the Evan Bros team and GALFER have managed to regain the Supersport 600 World Championship title for the second consecutive year, after Randy Krummenacher won it in 2019 with the same motorbike and team.
