After a tough race in Austria, Santa Cruz FSA rider Maxime Marotte made it onto the podium with a 9 second lead over the two racers behind him to finish in 5th place.
In the Cross-Country Olympic competition, Maxime Marotte earned a spot on the podium with his 5th place finish in the Men Elite category, using Galfer discs and pads on his bike. His teammate Luca Braidot finished the race among the top ten, in 8th position, less than one minute behind Marotte. The eleventh position went to Pierre De Froidmont, rider for the KMC Orbea team. He uses the 160-mm DB002W fixed Disc Wave and the Advanced G1851 red brake pads.
The next race will take place in Lenzerheide from 8 to 10 July.
