The leading friction components brand Galfer Bike will once again take part in Eurobike, the international benchmark trade fair for the bicycle industry, held in Frankfurt (Germany) from June 21 to 25, 2023.
The entire “Disc Shark®” range, including the new ø160mm version for XCO/XCM, will be showcased at the Galfer Bike booth (hall 9.1, stand B11) at Eurobike 2023. Developed in collaboration with international riders such as Martin Maes (Orbea Fox Enduro Team) and Hans Becking (Buff®-Megamo), the new “Disc Shark®” are the perfect combination of design, innovation and high performance, already conquering the market thanks to their outstanding features: lower operating temperature, increased braking power, greater stability and reduced weight.
In addition to the new brake discs, some of the latest products from the new Galfer Bike 2023 catalog will also be presented, such as the updated floating brake discs with colored pins (green, red, blue, gold, orange and violet), the new “Disc Wave®” for e-Bikes with housing for the speed sensor magnet, or the lightweight screws for discs and adapters. Alongside the rest of the product range for MTB, road, e-Bikes and Bike Trial, Galfer’s wide range of brake pads will also be on display, already established as a benchmark in the bicycle market.
The design of the Galfer booth at Eurobike is inspired by the new campaign “Find your Flow” featuring the image of popular rider Gee Atherton, founder of his own bicycle brand: Atherton Bikes. In 2023 Galfer sponsors the Atherton Racing team, competing in the UCI DH World Cup with Andreas Kolb, Rachel Atherton, Charlie Hatton and Dom Platt.
Ivo Martini Bristot – Galfer Sales Director:
“After a very positive year in 2022, the trend in 2023 continues in the same direction, and we are very pleased that Galfer Bike is expanding its sales network and international presence, already being a global reference in braking components for bicycles. This year 2023 we will once again be present at Eurobike to strengthen the brand at Europe’s most important event for the sector. We look forward to meeting again with our customers and distributors, as well as attracting new interest that will help us expand our commercial network even further.”
The Galfer brand was founded in 1952 and since then has continuously grown and evolved in the motorcycle and bicycle sectors. Experts in disc brake friction, its pads and discs have been used on mountain bikes since 1998 as original equipment and since 2012 also as aftermarket parts.
It is worth noting that Galfer Bike is an original equipment supplier (OEM) for several top brands in the industry such as Orbea, Pivot, Bianchi and Megamo, among others.
The Eurobike 2023 trade fair will take place in Frankfurt (Germany) from June 21 to 25, 2023, with the first three days reserved for professionals and the weekend open to the general public.
