Galfer Bike takes a new step forward towards globalization. After joining the elite of the DH UCI in 2016 with the Polygon UR team, and adding a deal in 2017 with the XC Primaflor-Mondraker team, in 2018 Galfer Bike will join the international Enduro world with the new Orbea project.
The new Orbea Enduro Team components will be: French rider Thomas Lapeyrie, British rider Becky Cook, and Spanish riders Gabriel Torralba and Javier San Román, who will enter all the EWS circuit in 2018, besides other international and national events. They will all use Galfer Bike brake components in their Orbea Rallon R5, specifically fixed Disc Wave® (ø203mm at the front, and ø180mm at the rear) and Advanced G1851 brake pads.
There’s also a partnership agreement between Galfer Bike and Comercial POUS, and Zona Zero Sobrarbe to be one of the technical sponsors of the Ainsa event of the Enduro World Series that will take place on 17-23 September 2018. Galfer Bike will double in Ainsa: at the race with the Orbea Enduro Team and at the Expo zone with a showroom. This will be the second event of the EWS held in Spain, after the 2015 Ainsa race that the prestigious Pinkbike magazine described as the best Enduro race of the year, with more than 500 participants.
