LORENZO DALLA PORTA GETS NEW PODIUM IN MOTO3

The circuit of Mugello (Italy) held a new racing weekend with the MotoGP World Championship full of spectators.

In Moto3 the race was again hotly contested. Four GALFER riders entered the Top Ten. The best was Lorenzo Dalla Porta (Leopard Racing), who led much of the race but was affected by slipstreams and had to settle in second place. Nicolo Antonelli (SIC 58) was 4th; John McPhee (Petronas Sprinta) was 6th; and Tatsuki Suzuki (SIC 58) finished 8th. They all use GALFER Racing braking products in their Honda HRC Moto3. Gabri Rodrigo (Gresini Racing) crashed while fighting for the leading positions.
After this results Dalla Porta gets second place at the general classification, and Antonelli is third.

In Moto2 British rider Sam Lowes (Gresini Racing) finished 9th, and Italian Mattia Pasini (Petronas Sprinta) was 11th. The SAG Racing riders had a difficult weekend: Remy Gardner was involved in an incident at the start of the race and finished 13th, while Tetsuta Nagashima had some physical issues and crossed the finish line behind his team mate in spite of having the 7th place at the starting grid.

And in MotoGP, bad luck for Italian Francesco Bagnaia and Spanish Tito Rabat as the both crashed and had to abandon. Czech rider Karel Abraham (Reale-Avintia) scored after finishing 14th.

The next MotoGP World Championship will be held at Montmeló on June, 14-16. It’s always a special round for all our GALFER riders, as our facilities are less than 200 m from the circuit.
