DOUBLE PODIUM FOR GALFER RIDERS IN AUSTIN

Italy’s Dennis Foggia and Andrea Migno took second and third place on the podium in the Moto3 class at the GP of the Americas in the World Championship.

The fourth round of the MotoGP season was held at the Austin circuit (USA) where the two strongest Galfer riders managed to climb the podium: Dennis Foggia (Leopard Racing) came 2nd and Andrea Migno (Team Snipers) came 3rd. In a very close and disputed race, as usual in the smaller category, the victory was decided in a heart-stopping last lap, where Jaume Masià overtook Foggia and Migno. Both Galfer riders use Floatech® brake discs, Racing sintered brake pads and metal brake lines on their Honda and KTM bikes, respectively.

In addition, Spaniards Xavi Artigas and Carlos Tatay (both with Prüstel GP) had a good weekend and achieved two good results with a 6th and an 8th place. The top ten in Moto3 was completed by Japanese rider Tatsuki Suzuki (Leopard Racing). Brazilian Diogo Moreira (MSI Spain) suffered an unfortunate crash a few laps from the end when he was in the leading group.

In the Moto2 class, Bo Bendsneyder (SAG Team) put in a good performance to achieve his best result of the season with a 7th place, very close to fifth position. The Dutch rider moved up several positions in the race with very solid lap times on his Kalex equipped with Galfer Floatech® DF110JCW1D/I directional brake discs.

The next MotoGP round will take place at the Algarve circuit in Portugal from 22 to 24 April.
