DENNIS FOGGIA’S THIRD WIN AT MOTORLAND

The Italian Leopard Racing rider took his third win and seventh podium of the Moto3 season to move closer to the top of the overall standings.

It was another excellent performance by Dennis Foggia (Leopard Racing) in the Aragon Moto3 GP at MotorLand. Dennis, who started from 14th position on the grid, once again charged through the pack on his Honda HRC equipped with GALFER disc brakes and pads to take the win. In an eventful race, where the top two riders in the overall standings both crashed out, Foggia was able to hold his nerve and put in a sensational last lap. Thanks to his GALFER brake components, Dennis Foggia was able to overtake Öncü in the final corner and win by just 0.041 seconds. With this victory and Acosta and García failing to finish, Foggia now lies third in the overall standings, 58 points behind the leader, and is the rider with the most podium finishes in the category this season.

Other riders to perform well were Stefano Nepa (BOE Owlride), who finished 8th, and Ryusei Yamanaka (Pruestel GP), 10th.

Meanwhile, the other GALFER riders at MotorLand were not so lucky, as they were involved in several crashes and were forced to retire.

The next round of the World Championship will be held at Misano (San Marino) from 17 to 19 September.
