BRAD FREEMAN EXTENDS HIS LEAD IN THE ENDUROGP

The British rider of the Beta Factory Team won the second day’s race of the Swedish GP, which puts him 22 points ahead in the overall EnduroGP standings with two races to go.

GALFER riders took several victories and podiums in the EnduroGP World Championship in Sweden. Wil Ruprecht (TM Boano) and Brad Freeman (Beta) took first podium in the overall scratch classification, on the first and second day respectively.

In the E3 category, Brad Freeman dominated the second day’s race with his Beta fitted with GALFER brake components (Disc Wave® RW brake discs and Racing G1396R sintered brake pads), followed by Jaume Betriu (KTM WP), both finishing first and second respectively on both days.

In the E2 category, Australian Wil Ruprecht took a win and a second place, holding onto his position as provisional leader of the category by 5 points.

In the Junior category, Lorenzo Macoritto took two wins and Matteo Pavoni two second spots, both of them TM Boano riders. In the championship standings, Pavoni is ahead of Macoritto by 6 points, with the third classified rider far behind them.

In the Youth category, Swedish rider Albin Norrbin (Fantic d’Arpa) dominated the overall classification while Italian rider Kevin Cristino took two podium spots.

Finally, in the Women’s category, Laia Sanz (GASGAS) claimed a double victory and takes the overall lead by 8 points.

EnduroGP 2021 resumes in the autumn with the German GP from 8 to 10 October.
