The Evan Bros team had a stellar performance at Phillip Island, with Randy Krummenacher’s victory and Federico Caricasulo’s podium and pole position at the first race of the 2019 Supersport World Championship.

The Supersport 600 World Cup had a great start for GALFER brake components brand, as two of its representatives were the main figures of the weekend.
Starting at the official Friday training, the two Yamaha YZF R-6 of the Evan Bros team proved they came in top shape to Australia.
On Saturday, Italian rider Federico Caricasulo won the pole position to his team mate Randy Krummenacher, both using the GALFER Racing Disc Wave® brake discs (ref. DF475CW1 front and DF496W rear).
On Sunday Randy won his first victory of the season after overtaking his team mate and being the fastest to change the tires. Federico Caricasulo had some problems during the change, thus finishing 3rd.

In Superbikes class Irish rider Eugene Laverty made his debut with his new team, the GoEleven, and his new bike, a Ducati Panigale V4R fitted with GALFER Racing brake discs.
Laverty was 12th and 9th in the first races and progressively improved, demonstrating he was quick to adjust to his new bike and team. On Sunday’s race, Eugene showed his potential by running in 6th place for several laps and riding against factory bikes.

The next WSBK World Cup will take place at the Buriram circuit in Thailand from March 15th to 17th.
