TOMI MISSER AND THOMAS LAPEYRIE’S GREAT COMEBACK AT THE EWS OF FRANCE

Tomi Misser won the Master class and Thomas Lapeyrie finished in 13th place in his comeback to the third round of the Enduro World Series held at Olargues (France).

The experienced Spanish Orbea rider Tomi Misser won the Master class of the Enduro World Series in his first attempt of the year. And he did it with undisputed authority, winning all 4 races of the first day, and finishing more than 2 minutes ahead the runner-up. Misser rode an Orbea Rallon fitted with brake pads and GALFER BIKE floating Disc Wave® and showed again that he masters all kind of disciplines, from Cyclocross to Downhill and Cross-Country.

Thomas Lapeyrie, Misser team mate of the Orbea Enduro Team, came back to competition after suffering health problems, and he did it excellently. Lapeyrie was near the final Top Ten in Elite Men. His team mate Gabriel Torralba was el 54th, and Toni Ferreiro (Merida) was 55th.

In Elite Women, British rider Becky Cook (Orbea) finished 10th, while Belgian rider Alexanda Marchal was 15th in her first ever EWS 2018.

The fourth round of the Enduro World Series will be held in Slovenia from June 30th to July 1st, 2018.
